Booking Policy

This page explains how reservations work for tours operated by Bovilla Guides. Please read it before making a booking. By confirming a tour you agree to the terms below.

How to book

Bookings are made through the enquiry form on our homepage, by email at hello@lakebovilla.com, or by WhatsApp at +355 68 521 8252. Tell us the date, the number of travellers, and which tour you would like. We reply within a few hours during working time (Mon–Sun, 08:00–20:00 CET).

Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once we have sent you a written confirmation email or WhatsApp message containing the tour name, date, pickup time and location, and total price. A name on a request form alone does not reserve a seat.

Payment

  • A deposit of 30% of the tour price is required to lock in your seat. The deposit is paid by bank transfer or by card link (Stripe).
  • The remaining balance is paid in cash (EUR or LEK) to your guide on the day of the tour, or in advance by transfer if you prefer.
  • Prices include guide, transport, and any entrance fees listed on the tour page. Lunch and personal expenses are not included unless explicitly stated.

Group sizes

Standard departures run with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12 guests. If a tour does not meet the minimum 24 hours before departure, we will offer you a private upgrade at a supplement, a transfer to another date, or a full refund of any deposit paid.

Children and accessibility

Children aged 6 and older are welcome on the hiking tours; the 4×4 Adventure has no minimum age. The Mount Gamti trail is steep and rocky in places — it is not suitable for prams, wheelchairs, or guests with serious mobility limitations. The 4×4 SUV Adventure is a good alternative for visitors who want the views without the climb.

Pickup, weather, and changes

Pickup locations in Tirana are confirmed in your booking message — typically your hotel or a central meeting point. If weather conditions make the mountain road unsafe (heavy rain, snow, or fog), we may reschedule the departure to another time the same day or to the next available date. Refunds are available if no replacement date works for you.
